PROS & CONS

Acura's transmissions are smooth shifting and like all the Honda family's transmissions they are very durable until they hit the limit of thier usable life.

The negitive thing about most of the Honda/Acura transmission family is that the transmission filter not servicable without rebuilding the transmission, so when normal ware and tear plugs up the filter it starves the transmission's pressure like a dirty vacuum cleaner bag only you can't change it and the transmission burns up, clutches slip, engine rev's, you hear a high pitched whining/buzzing noise and the car won't go anymore!
