How do I change my automatic transmission fluid and filter?

Most automatic transmissions can be serviced by a "DO-IT YOURSELFER" with a little mechanical experience, most automatic transmissions have a pan on the bottom of the transmission, most pan bolts come off with either 10mm or 13mm socket, once the pan is removed the filter is easiely replaced and most pans go back on with 6 to 8 foot lbs of torque. usually filling the transmission with about 3 quarts of fluid before restarting the engine and then carfully top-off untill full with factory recommended fluid, do final level check after fully warmed up about 15 minutes.
